A Note from the Editor
Yet another month has passed by all too quickly. Fortunately for me, this month Brian Appleyard handed in a contribution for the newsletter which has eased the workload of filling the pages. My thanks to Brain for his article which not only aided myself as I struggle to find the spare time to fill the pages, but also a very interesting article in my opinion as well. Contributions from other member’s are always welcomed.
For those that may not be aware next year sees a major refurbishment of the museum. The museum will not therefore be available for our regular monthly meetings after December 2010 till at least Sept/Oct 2011. You can rest assured however moves are afoot for an alternative temporary venue for next year and the details will be given in due course.
To those members who still need to renew their subscription, please do so as soon as possible, either at the next meeting or by sending a cheque for £6.00 to the Society Treasurer, David Gray, at 59, Francis Gardens, Peterborough, Cambs, PE1 3XT. Your Society needs your support in order to survive
Next Monthly Meeting
The next meeting is on Wednesday, 10th November, 2010 when the speaker will be Terry Downing, the Cambridgeshire Coordinator for “Help For Heroes.”
